BIG Tanker!!
Re: BIG Tanker!!
Wow, you really have a diverse collection!
But the cab is not an American LaFrance - it's a Ford C series which was never produced by Corgi (I think the oldest Ford truck from Corgi was an H series, used e.g. for the Holmes wrecker). So if this tanker is indeed a copy I have to leave it to others to identify the source model for the Ford C.

Re: BIG Tanker!!
As far as I know, the last company to market that Tanker was TUDOR ROSE (also based in Wales!), who had business connections with POPLAR PLASTICS and POPLAR TOYS with some cross pollination of tooling.
The same cab moulding was also used by Tudor for a type flat bed delivery truck, find a picture for you later if you want.

Hi all,
Course you're right, it's a Ford Cab.
I'd love to know anything more about it, when was it made?
Cheers

Nice one Chris, I don't want to highjack your thread but I love my big tanker, from West Germany. Space is the problem though

Magirus Deutz Saturn or later D-Frontlenker (Frontlenker means COE)
BTW - both Magirus are made from the same company.
Here is a smaller vehicle, but also BP
