#06, Casting

6a (Quarry Truck), issued 1954, length 55mm, box types A and B.
6b (Euclid Quarry Truck) issued 1959, length 63mm, box types B-C and D.
6c Euclid Dump Truck, issued 1963, length 67mm, box types D and E.
6d Ford Pick-up, issued 1968, length 71mm, box type F.

Showing the 1mm and the 2mm front axel gaps under the engine compartments.

showing the angled braces in the front of the engine compartment and the curved ones on the other model.
Also can be seen on the left hand model a flat head axle on the right a domed head axle both crimped ends.

The two different grilles that can be found on this 6d model, White and Chrome grilles. The only other variation is with-out a letter "A" or with a letter "A" on the base.

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

I agree with Jason very nice, i would also love to find a transitional SF version with an unpainted base which is a tough one to find!!

yeah i would think the unpainted base SF would even be harder to find
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Yeah,like this specimen that i saw the minute it was loaded but never understood the differences between Unpainted,Silver plated & Raw Mazac and simply let it go only to be snapped up within the next 5mins.
Im not at all upset but a good lesson learned and hope that some forum member bought it.
