Both as beens - Astley and Matchbox. Mattel did a great job of killing the brand off.

Yes, they did. And to think that just five or six years ago, Matchbox was producing great little models...now it's a sea of generic construction equipment and off-roaders.

Seems to come in spasams .I was buying the Routemaster buses a while back and XK120s+VWs+Mini vans but then it all stopped again so I sold the lot off.

Do not joke - here in Oz we get all the old Rick Astleys and many more coming over to do tours at the local clubs. Think its Searchers month this time !!!!!!!
