Just to correct you Ghosty its a GP (Grand Prix), not a GTO :)

Pontiac never made a production 64 GP conv, 67 was the first & only year of the ragtop GP.

The Pontiac Grand Prix convertible would also be one of those "what-if" type of deals. The 22C is based on a 1964 Grand Prix, which was only offered in hardtop form.

It took some time, but now its ready for the display. I built my own cover for the roof as recommended by Joe, grinded the window frame thinner and at last painted interior and cover in a period color. I think, its a keeper :D

Thought I'd slot this in here. This is a 53b Mercedes 220SE convertible. It came with some provenance (but not watertight unfortunately) linking it back to Lesney.

Hi Roland,

now it looks much better.
Still looking for a beater of that one - I want to have this as a convertible as well.
