When the advert does not appear, the pages index all jump up to their usual position, very annoying and time consuming.

I have adblocker same as others and I also stay logged in. At the moment I do not experience any of what you do Ghosty but maybe that is because I have not logged out for quite a while and therefore the new changes are not affecting me until I were to log out. I also clear my cache daily to try and cut down on any issues. If it makes any difference I am using windows 10 with chrome instead of Edge as well.

I think several members here will agree that when I'm on the forum, I am on it for long periods and during a Days activity I would just put the laptop to sleep, it rarely gets turned off completely. When I hit any key to wake it up, I then just click on the shortcut icon to the forum and away we go...not any more, I'm being logged out behind my back.

The VAIO is Windows 7/8 mix, with Chrome, with Adblock.

The important part of this thread is that our leader is planning to spend a long time at sea! Come on Nick, you can't just drop that in and keep us guessing as to what's going on :)

Just wondering if we'll be all at sea without him. However, if we are, then we'll be at sea with him, not without him, so we won't be all at sea at all, which means we will be without him so we will be all at sea etc. etc. etc.

It also applies to U.S. Navy vessels being decommissioned. By tradition, the Commanding Officer is the last to depart the ship. I could go on with Navy trivia for a few days, but I'll just stop now...

Nick, have an enjoyable and safe time at sea. Don't forget to inspect your life rafts before heading out! I understand the reasoning behind the ads. Being that they're small and static, I didn't even notice them until Motorman pointed them out,
