Update: So, I don't see this model variation for several years---- now 2 in a month! Plus, a third from a collector friend (shown above).
I believe the Seller from this new listing acquired a large and impressive collection from a collector in Georgia (USA) during the past year..........
I have bought some items from this Seller in the past and been very pleased with them.
What do your think? $1400 seems to be the number....

The model in Bill's link looks pretty good, but I'd still want to see some quality close-ups of the axle ends and rivet were I in a position to buy. $1,400 seems a bit too steep to me. This is a great casting, with the roll-up rear door and accessory pieces...I'm just more in the BPW "Rentaset" price bracket.

If you scroll down to what else is for sale, there are some staggering prices wanted. I have this image of the rear axle-end and the first thing that strikes me is the string of Grey plastic just winding itself around the axle-end left protruding from the wheel. If these wheels are original for this model, surely this would have worn away and why is there in the first place. Wheels are put onto smooth rods of mild steel, put into a machine for the end to be 'Peened' resulting in the 'Mushroom' effect. If a wheel is forced over a ragged axle-end, it will cut into the plastic and leave surplus plastic. Is this what has happened here...

I like most genuine collectors do not condone fakery, but If your'e going to fake something, at least make it look good, don't leave clues to what may have happened to the model on a workbench!

Hi Ghosty well said if I was going to fake something I would make sure that there was no tail tell signs. The axle ends give a lot of signs away. In the factory they must have had some sort of pillar drill to round off the axel ends. Dose anybody have any info or pictures of how they done it Pete
