Very nice GT-H!
The 66 fastback Mustang is at the top of the list for when I win the Lottery. (Even if it's a small lottery. If it's a large lottery, then there are additional classic cars to add to the list! But I would be extremely happy to start with one like yours.)
Enjoy!

Thanks all for your kind comments on my 66 Fastback.
It's got a later 302 engine with 4 speed manual toploader gearbox.

This is my father's car when we lived in Scotland prior to 1962 - it is a Triumph Mayflower...
No family car in this photo taken circa 1963/4 as we didn't have a car - just bicycles - but look at the cars parked on the road in the background - all RIGHT hand drive and common on the roads of New Zealand in the 1960s! My Dad and I were laying the new driveway for our newly built house.

No family car on the photo, but an early cement mixer ^^

That cement mixer was older than the 1-75 Matchbox... it was already nearly 30 years old when Dad borrowed it to mix the concrete for the drive!Miller wrote:No family car on the photo, but an early cement mixer ^^

Does your Dad like to make things last and get the best out of everything, my Dad does...

He is a bit that way, as I am, BUT the cement mixer was owned by my Mother's Uncle who bought it second-hand in 1952... at the time the photo was taken we had only been in NZ for a couple of years.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Does your Dad like to make things last and get the best out of everything, my Dad does...
