RW34

Post by Ergomatic »

Hi all,

This four VW arrived to a used car dealer about two weeks ago. On the right side is a Wartburg Trans 1.3, made in DDR with VW 1,3l engine, but what type of truck is on left?
Information are welcome.

Peter

From the flat shape of the wheel arch it could be a Ford Taunus Transit (FK-series).

Edit: Although I am not sure now as the windscreen is the same height as the side window. But maybe for later model years the windscreen was made larger.

I don't know much about the European Van on the left, but I am in love with those four 1967 split window VW Vans you have shown us here! Fahrfignuggen on steroids! Thanks for this dream VW picture tonight, and also for the odd #5 Bus and the candybar you have sent me from Hungary. I am enjoying LOOKING at both of them right here tonight on my computer desk, but I am a bit hungry for that chocolate bar...... :) Dick
