The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition), notes a trim variation. Their code 50-2b (the equivalent of Nick's code 1) is noted as having silver-trimmed grille and headlights, whilst all other variations only have the grille trimmed. (An untrimmed model is noted, but this is presumably an error piece.)
Neither the AIM “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983) nor Stannard detail any variations not already covered by Nick.
Houghton has one additional variations: 50b-3 ,the red-hubbed version which is dismissed as a pre-production by Nick.
U.K. Matchbox did not examine the model.
