That was a neat video Dan
Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching it.
Those were the days where if ya had 5 kids ya just threw em all in the back !
I can recall when growing up we'd fold the back seat down on the station wagon and lay bag there with our sleeping bags
during the road trip. Kids got it rough now they have to sit upright, strapped in and playing their video games.

Yes, I remember going to school like that, loads of us all piled into the back of a Morris Minor Clubman Traveller, I also remember travelling down in the front footwell as it was the warmest place :D

That crowded back seat was also a favorite scene for me also! It's funny how we all had flashbacks of our youth before car seats and safety harnesses. We laid across the back seat on a trip home from visiting relatives, and poof, we woke up home. No wonder we turned out much calmer than today's youth. The video was a lot of fun to watch and enjoy, what a treat! Our Lesney Toys in action. Thanks for linking us to it Dan, what an unexpected treat last night.....kwakers

I remember the crowded back seat. As the youngest, I always got to go in the middle, directly over the transmission tunnel and therefore a) with nowhere to put my legs, and b) with the least amount of cushioning. :(

Thoroughly enjoyed that Dan, my dad had several Cortinas and the image of the kids lined up in the back seat is very familiar to me and my brother and 2 sisters as we often found ourselves sat in that very position!!!
