It had all of the lights fitted, it had a SD1 rover with MGB tubular headers, dual exhaust and two marina radiators with electric fans, the ifs was rebuilt using nylon bushes and the irs was removed from its cage so it was all independent suspension with discs all round. rack & pinion steering and anti roll bars front and rear so it would have handled properly, the prop shaft was on and the fuel tank was in, the rear windows were in.
Admittedly there was still a lot to do but it could have been finished, Gary Layton is one of the finest chassis builders in the UK.
The side windows would have slid backwards to allow entry. a couple months work would have seen it on the road, not having the windows fitted in made it look much worse than it really was, Take the windows out of any motor and it will look crap.
