OK thank's Guys, it does seem to happen when it is very windy where I am and points towards whatever we have on the roof of our tower block getting knocked out. Maybe some sort of mast up there is moving or something else is tripping out.

I get my broadband through the TV aerial system from Virginmedia and it is supposed to be a cable method of transference to the tower block, but if it were, surely the high winds we have been having recently should not affect it!

All Day on Sunday, both laptops could not access the internet, spent Hours watching the rubbish on Telly...

Hi all.
I think hostgator must have been replacing or renewing our server and while this was being done the site was slow, it all seems fine now, I pay about $200 for 3 years use of the use of the server, Ghostie, I also outsource some of the files, 25,000 of the photographs on the website are hosted by photobucket.
Statcounter have shown an increase in pageloads, it is up about roughly 20% on last year from 10,000 to around 12,000 on a busy day, most of the increase has been in the last two months which may explain why the site needed to be moved. onwards and upwards!.

Anyone having 'Photobucket' problems...

I had Three failed uploads last night and another fail this evening, nothing has been changed or adjusted by me, so I am not sure what is going on, I have not as far as I can tell, reached any 'Free Account' storage limits...Hmm, good job I can use 'TinyPic' just as easily.

I upload directly from the PC or memory stick depending on the photo, I found it the easiest option.

I usually do the same Rob and only use 'Photbucket' for the VBD if a detailed higher res picture is needed. The pictures last night were for a forum that does not allow direct uploading from the PC, you have to use a photo sharing website.

I have been trying to use the Macbook Pro for viewing the forum and quick comments posting but switching back to the VAIO when more detailed comments and pictures are needed. This comment is being typed on the macbook, but when I click the Submit button, I will get the usual 'message submitted successfully' notice, but then it will hang and not take me out and back into the section I was posting my comment to, strange and annoying because I then have to manually click on the Board Index to leave where I was typing my comment...

I am back on the VAIO for this comment and it has taken around Fifteen minutes from bringing the laptop out of sleep to actually typing this. The laptop freezes every time I try and access the forum and what I see it the Board Index with many items missing and no action from me to resolve it, it has to run it's coarse and un-freeze.

I don't want to turn off my Adblock because It's so useful on other sites, I may have to investigate the adblock options to see if it can be website/forum specific.
