As hard as it is to admit Bill, you have indeed out-referenced me on this one! Having been friends and dealt with Harold "The Lesney Sheriff" Colpitts, I now stand corrected on the legitimacy of this variation. Now that I am aware that Harold had this Coded in his Guide, I know I will have to be more careful before answering such questions presented here on our Forum. The collector who contacted you on having this variation in his collection is one lucky guy. If he is a Forum member here and will show his model, perhaps another one will be found and that code can be added to Nick's listings on this TV Van. Perhaps Antonin can show us one of his??
My Humble apologies on having missed a correct answer on this one Bill..... kwakers

No worries and things continue to evolve..... Actually, I was tipped off by a fellow collector about checking the A.I.M catalog. I have been in the process of moving my Matchbox collection so I had to "dig" the catalog out for a look! It will be kept close at hand now as it has always been an excellent reference guide.
Let's hope some good photos show up for this model and we can determine if it can be added to Nick's listing....................
Stephan,
I searched on Ebay and couldn't find a GPW "Radio Rentals" model. Would you possibly have a link?
Thanks,
Bill

But of course this is the common Fine Gray Plastic Wheeled version, not the VERY rare Knobby Gray Plastic offering by the first Seller that was discussed here. kwakers

As it has now been sold, we should bring a picture to the forum.

...but that's a Rentaset, not a Radio Rentals example.
