Thank you Fixer. I have every reason to believe the reverse wrecker is original and authentic. It was acquired through an auction house and has a reasonably traceable provenance. Close scrutiny seems to confirm all expected aspects of a genuine reverse wrecker exist. Macdonald

It would be great to see a genuine reverse wrecker on the forum that we can micro-analyse. Some absolute beauties in that drawer.

There you go Mac, a lot of interest in your reverse wrecker truck. Would you mind posting some good clear pictures of your example, with the understanding it will be scrutinized very closely because we are so aware of faked versions and if during the time your example is shown on the forum members start to have doubts about yours, we hope you don't mind any criticising comments. We want it to be real and genuine.

I would be grateful if any Member expressing doubts regarding the originality of this or any other model would take the trouble to put together a proper argument with supporting facts. (There have been too many cases of knee-jerk cries of "FAKE!" in the past. Not only are these anything but a constructive contribution to debate, they also put other Members off showing interesting models in other threads. Remember, do as you would be done by and let's treat each other, and each other's models, with respect.)

Here are 3 pictures of the reverse wrecker presented for your analyzing pleasure. I have thick skin and look forward to the scrutiny and analysis. This model may be familiar to some members of the forum. Macdonald
