There are quite a few around. I know of 6 or 7 so I guess there would be at least double that number in various collections around the world.
I often see the larger early Lesney toys displayed in them. I guess due to the larger shelf space collectors assumed that this is what it was intended for but this photo shows differently.

That would be a lovely piece of history to hold in one's own collection. Were these made of wood, Steve? The dimensions are provided there. It seems something like this would be easy enough to make. Do you know what the actual colors were?

Tim, for clarity I have added some brightness to your picture. You also have a Dinky Escort sitting on top of it with what looks like the rare Black interior. Heaven knows what else is lurking in the dark corners of your empire... :lol:
