Barely visible on my current VAIO screen, but the right model looks to be a bit more Creamy.

Great eyes. THat is the difference I saw as well. Very slight and I did not think the pic would show well enough.

I see it the other way around...the model on the left looks more cream, while the one on the left looks pure white.

It's a shame that such great models are largely absent from the current line. I guess Mattel envisions the Matchbox line as being only suited for poorly designed, generic heavy equipment and off-roaders.

Edit: Never mind the question about the dots on the hood. I answered it myself with a little further reading.

I see it that way too, although the light seems to be hitting these slightly differently judging by the reflection on the bonnets which may skew things slightly. You can't beat having them in the hand.
