Is it anything to do with the type of computer that members are using. I have had absolutely no problems with the site. I am accessing it via my Apple IPad Air, OS operating system. Are the members who are having issues using computers with a MS operating system?

Microsoft did a massive update dump a few days ago!!!

Perhaps that has something to do with the problems. I have the problems (frequent failures in loading threads due to timeouts), and I have Windows 8.

However, I have no problems on any other sites as far as I have seen. So the site's software must be at least partly responsible too.

Best idea would be for someone to contact the hosting site and ask the guys there to check out if anything needs attention, once that has been done then anything else still happening can be tackled.

Cannot open the site in one go, I am getting feedback like the server is busy, busy, busy and apparently very busy.
After some time I get access and then it all works.

Same still here - it takes two or three refreshments to get onto the page. Once there, i can click "new posts", but openning a post shows me the hourglass. Sometimes i use Nick website to join the forum, if there are to many time outs.

I´m running XP on this old Lady here, so no worries about MS updates :D

I had problems posting my last post.
I had to start three times before it worked.

To me, that is a clear indication that the issue is with the VBD server rather than with a PC operating system or browser.

I tend to agree, how about a mod contacting the host company, they should have a help desk.
