My 10s:
10c is yet another model that looks cool with spw - still need to find a nice one.

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Extremely rare BSC promotional 10c:
Given the fact that the British Sugar Corporation spent its time making sugar (the name is a bit of a give away in this particular case) rather than placing decals on models plus the fact that production was apparently only about three dozen examples, it seems probably that the decals were both sourced and applied by Lesney.

Joe, why don't you now post same again in the real Matchbox cars thread and add some further information with it.

I don't know any background info on the photo. Just put it up to compliment Hugh's rare promotional model ... they got the decal(s) right as rain.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

OK, we can add it at a later date and with a bit of searching find some relative info.

Hi Joe,
Nice photo - interesting that while this looks at first glance like the 10c Foden, this truck is actually a Seddon of a similar vintage.
Cheers,
Gavin

How do you define a "raised platform"? I´m not shure, how to understand the description on the 10c Leyland Pipe truck.
Are both versions meant to have the "raised platform"? If yes, then the lower platform should be a code 3 in Nicks list, if not, it could be a code 2.
Have there been white bases with Leyland No.10?
This is, what makes me wonder. The left base clearly has a raised platform, imho the right one has just an idea of it.Then the base was altered so first the words 'Leyland no 10' were replaced by 'Ergomatic cab' but this was now on a raised platform where it had previously been on a smooth baseplate.
