It’s 3 and 3/8 ins long, has brass wheels and rubber tyres of about Dinky 50s standard size. From the shape and the hatch in the roof it looks as if it may be supposed to be an artillery tractor. This is borne out by some traces of oversprayed khaki and olive green on the underside but they may not be reliable as there are splotches of other shades of green - and even some cream - especially on the tyres! I haven’t yet found a trace of the original colour on the upper surfaces, even though the previous proud owner who applied the lovely green shade seems to have been a bit lacking in the surface preparation stakes. Cast into the roof fore and aft are the words MADE IN ENGLAND with E M and LOW diagonally across within raised lines.
As you can see (if I can manage to post the photo of the underside!), it’s had a wire tow hook glued to the back end, probably after the original cast hook broke off.
