Great collection Daz, You have a nice selection of TV based Sci-Fi models and you have the Morris 'Bullnose' 'Let yer hair down and chill out' model, do not see many of these around.

My fav model you are showing is the "FAB 1" model, I have several of those and have researched all 14 versions of it and put them in a book. You can see a slide show of the pages here...http://s1018.photobucket.com/user/kevin ... ow/Fab%201

blimmy I didn't realise there were so many. the only variations I knew of were strips on the roof and the shocking pink. the black seat version looks cool.
sadly mine has been bashed. The grill is battered and lost the spirit of ecstasy.

The dinky beats is 1 of 4 Dinky's in my display case. the others are the FAB, prisoner moke and the landrover. they look a bit odd really amongst the Actionman collection :D .

my holy grail

Post by daz28 »

My holy grail :D
No not the Dinky model (although it is nice) but a full size 1:1 scale Humber Hawk. I have many childhood memories in my dads Humber, holidays and trips out etc. spent a lot of time sleeping in the back window shelf (wouldn't get away with it theses days). There's a nice one on ebay but a tad over budget + collection and import charges, but I will have one one day :D .
He had quite a few cars but the Humber has to be the most memorable. good job really as I would never afford a MK11 Jag

there seams to be lots of Dinky models around so would it be a crime to repaint this one ?.

Probably not, although it is the more desireable Two-tone colour in my view, but does have a fare amount of playware.
