A great model for the Chrysler enthusiast to collect with so many colour variations.

Kevin, you mention the POLITIE version, I have only seen this with Flyers wheels, is there an Impy version too?

However, we are getting ahead of ourselves, the Police Chryslers were numbered 16 rather than 12.

"The same casting was used in 1968 as number 16 and trimmed as a 'POLICE' car in White or 'POLITE AUTO' in Blue."

I did mention the later number 16 catalogue number within my posting and the 'POLITE AUTO' was for the Netherlands Police, a rather odd promotional I think, unless they actually operated the car for real!

Yes, it's a Dutch Police version, it is rare I think. I have never been stopped by the Dutch Police so I don't know if they are polite - but they have POLITIE on their vehicles (with an extra I). So is there an Impy version or did it just come with Flyers wheels?

'IMPY' version, we have not got as far as the 'FLYERS' range yet, so I have not looked for it as a Flyers version.

there is an Impy version shown on the Lone Star Gallery site
i'm not sure if we can borrow the picture as there doesn't seem to have been much activity for a while but here's a link to it, which we should include when we get to it
