Hello Kevin,GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Details of at least Two new Rolls-Royce models from 'OXFORD' are starting to emerge.

Both in 1/43rd scale and both to be listed at just under £25 in the UK.
GHOSTHUNTER.
You write that the 2nd model has a Muliner coachwork but under the drawing it is stated as being James Young.
I am not a Rolls Royce expert.

Hello Marcel, the page layout has made it look like that but to make it clear, the older Rolls-Royce Phantom III is the Mulliner car, the top picture and the newer Phantom V is the James Young car, the lower picture, hope that helps.

Thanks for the honorable title you just bestowed on me, although it feels it bit like being the 15th man who landed on the moon,GHOSTHUNTER wrote:I can see I am going to have to start calling you "Mr Jaguar the 3rd" (sorry, Mr Jaguar the 1st and 2nd already taken!), as your Jaguar collection must be quite extensive now and with those extra models above from Oxford, you'll have to start selling some of those old Rollers, if only you knew someone else who collected them...![]()
Ghosty.

I am very fond of Jaguars, in fact if I go back some 30 years, my collection of model cars was 95% Jaguars. The same with books, brochures etc. etc.
I even owned and drove a 1965 S Type, until it expired on me; it was a rusty wreck.
It was Jaguar all the way in them days. I sold the lot some 20 years ago, minus one MK II model which I still have.
Rolls Royce and Bentley always on my mind since my very youth, but somehow it played a second fiddle until I re-started collecting 10 years ago. Right now I am re-investing in Jaguar model cars and yes my collection starts to grow.
This was one of my displays ( a lot of repaints/code 3 Matchbox) in those Jaguar days of old.

Re: Oxford Diecast.
That is good news, presumably just a re-colour of the previous issue Bentley, but still very welcome and I'll be looking out for it at my next toy fair.
