Re: My latest news
Excellent, I can see that when we have the end of Year poll in December, the new class for restorations and customs will be a difficult one to call.

Great job .
Re: My latest news
Thanks for your Kind replays Gentleman.
If I look at Tinmans restaurations I see that you can´t compare them with mine.
Tehy are still a class of it´s own.
The same with the one who made the Chevrolet el camino and Station waggon.

Re: My latest news
Well I am sure Joe ("Tinman"), will thank you for saying that but from where I am sitting, there is not a lot to choose between them and assuming no more new members join the forum with customs or restorations, it will be a very tight end of Year poll.

Personally the end of the year poll, still many moons away, is not important in the way of winning.
I don´t care about winning, I just don´t want to lose.
The most important thing for me is that the poll is a stepping stone; showing to all members what a bunch of restoration addicts can produce. And what nice results can be attained. Restorations show a lot of creative talent.
The niche of restorers is coming out to present what they can do, thereby claiming a well earned place among collectors of fine model cars.
Maybe it encourages others to join this bunch and to get their hands dirty with paint, glue, elbow grease, spit and polish.
This VBD forum is better off with a wide variety of people, other than more of the same.

Re: My latest news
I am wondering which car will be towing the trailered boat. Anyone with a Ford Anglia probably now can not afford a boat on it's trailer. The Vauxhall Cresta owner would like to have a boat but it will probably be the Ford Taunus owner who if he goes for an imported car like that, has the spare Money for a boat, so yes, its the Ford Taunus and boat combination for me!
