No one had any comment on Dan's rare early casting braceless 30C Crane he showed us with axle rust. Nice picture of a rare casting Dan! That is a tough casting variation to find here in the U.S. in my opinion. It took me years to get my first example with the help of nearlymint Jason, but I still check the base on hundreds of these 30Cs on E Bay and also at shows every year. Is that force of habit or pure GREED?? (Sent from our ancient Dell in the Cave) kwakers
thanks Dick...it was one i immediatly thought of as i remember it was in pretty good condition but the axles were rusty...i wasnt trying to showboat my braceless crane

back in the summer i had one i was watching on ebay and it was flawless and at a 9 dollar starting bid i was hoping to get it...well i forgot about it when the auction ended and missed getting it...as no one bid it was relisted...and of course someone put a bid on it early on...i was kicking myself now...so nearing the auction end i bid 15 dollars...and didnt beat the original bidders price...oh well..i keep telling myself...i have one...but a minty one that got away still bother me

i am also looking for one thanks to ghosty enlightening me about it...has anyone one else noticed that the tow hook locator hole is huge and you can always see a part of it when you look at the base
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
