George, Fintail,
I wouldn't have even known to look for this variation without you guys bringing it to my attention. Like George, I've got two examples of this model. Until today I just thought of them as the same. I've kept both because one (yellow dot) is from my childhood collection. I has a broken handlebar and rough paint. The other is quite minty. But today when I looked at the bases I see that I actually have two different castings! So which is more common? The one with or without the small triangular corner brace?
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
OK, on the 66C Greyhound Coach (Bus), Stannard indicates that with the square end labels were sometimes applied backwards so that the dogs were facing the REAR of the coach. Does anyone have one and a photo? I have been looking for one for quite sometime and have yet to see one.....................
