That's a 2 door open rear deck pick up, looking forward to seeing that finished.

Here are some before shots showing the parts that i have used . The front of the #38 Vauxhalls roof is used backwards to get those sloping rear pillars . I then had to do some serious reshaping of the now , front section above the windscreen . . The #60 Morris was the donar for the rear bed . I opted for clear glass in this one . Using a #33 Zephyr front windscreen i joined it to the centre section of the #38 Vauxhall window unit and used the original Vauxhall front window for the back windscreen . The window unit in this took 4 hours to get right (after the first 4 hours on the green unit i made ).
The morris body had a lot of material removed so it would fit into the now ute bed section of the Impala also making sure a snug fit was achieved under the rear window . I had to use a small amount of epoxy to build up the top of the tailgate section .

The next post will be the finished model . Rain delays

Now this is my sort of scratch building and this will get me keen to do some more myself.

That has worked out really well and in the picture, easily mistaken for a Lesney factory product.
