Hi,
thanks for your replies.
Kevin the scale of both origin models are nearly the same: 25c 1:85 / 26c 1:86.

Stephan, are they the scales printed in Lesney catalogues, from an expert here on the forum or from your own measurements, because if they are from Lesney catalogues, you can not rely on the accuracy.

If they are correct scales then fine, it shows us how much bigger the real cab must be.

Hi,

here I have two Ferraris which I want to use to make one good one.

Is it possible to transfer the Labels from the front model to the other one or would it be better to swap the wheels because the other one also has the steering wheel in place?

I would do a wheel transplant as the decals are impossible to re-transfer.
Or better, save both cars, by buying (after market) new decals (€ 2,50) and a steering wheel for one and a set of wheels for the other.
They both are worth saving I guess.

Yes this would be the best but I coudn´t find wheels and rims for this car.
I have only found steering wheels, driver and label.

Well Stephan I think there is an alternative, and I could help you with that, it only requires patience.
The picture shows two wire wheels, originating from a wrecked Yesteryear Mercedes or Bentley.
These rims are bigger in diameter than the ones which belong to the Ferrari.
But by putting a thin rubber O ring on them, the total diameter should fit the F1 Ferrari quite well.
So what I need is to find another banger Yesteryear model and we have a complete set.
Do you think it is a good idea? Just my 2 centavos.
