GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Hello ritchie, a fabulous collection of miniature Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II models you have there.

This model comes from 1987 and my master listing records 33 versions, but it has not been updated for a while and I think there are at least another 10 examples waiting to be added to it.

I only have 6 examples in my collection.

Thank you GHOSTHUNTER. Very informative, as always.

Hello Christian,

Is this smooth/textured the same as what you described as silver-grey and pearl silver on your master listing?

Thanks,
R

Yes, that's it. I am not quite sure if that terminology is appropriate, but while I cannot come up with something better, I will stick to it.

Thank's Christian for the baseplates picture.

How do they manage to retain so much of the paint on the rivet head, after machining it down to secure the base, compaired to British Matchbox models?
