Obviously a Corvette but not named as such my examples are limited to 2 dark green with red and blue interiors and a baby blue one, this is the only one I have seen and would be very interested to see others if anyone has them
All the Impy versions I have so far seen have a number 8 tampo on the bonnet

Re: #11 Gran Tourismo
The pale Blue version is very hard to find as it is from 1969, the Year these models were converted to 'Flyers' and that Blue is the new colour for that model in this Year, borrowed I think from the #23 Alfa Romeo.
There is also a dark Green with Orange interior as shown below... The Blue interior versions are very nice and tend to be American market issues in 'MINI MITE' boxes.
The 'SOLIDO' flier and the 'AHM' catalogue illustration, shows the dark Green model with the race number only on the doors, these may have been early models used just for photography, as I have not seen examples like this in 'The Hand'.

Re: #11 Gran Tourismo
Thank's for adding your variations Ogedei.
I am not so sure about the distributor casting you highlight, I don't think this is deliberately cast as the distributor (I am happy to be proven wrong), more likely just the tool ejection pin is leaving that area with different levels, but is conveniently positioned to accept it as such.
You also show the 'Smooth' wheel rim (model with Tan interior) and 'Ridged' wheel rim (model with Red interior), designs.

Re: #11 Gran Tourismo
agree it probably is from ejection ghostie, it just happens to fall where the dizzy and cover plate are on a vette of that era some are tall, some short, some are flat or depressed slightly.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Thank's for adding your variations Ogedei.

reg are your engine bays on the green ones painted or unpainted ?
Re: #11 Gran Tourismo
Si the one with red interior is unpainted , the blue interior one is painted the
both green ones have the recessed ring marks where as the light blue is raised after checking my flyer versions there seems to be several different profiles to these raised posts
also the profile of the wheels differs between rough and smooth tyres the rough tyre rim having a flatter apperance than the smooth tyre rim (I will post some pictures later)
