I hope any forum members in the flooded areas of the UK are fine and keeping safe, in particular Ian ("Misterpop"), who is in Manchester so may be on the edge.

Alex ("Motorman") I think is too high up for flooding, just has endure a lot of rain.

Please try and be safe you Guys up there.

...and as I am on the Seventh floor of a tower block, I can just see the flag flying on top of Alex's cave...

I was totally unaware of this...guess I need to poke my head out of my cave every once in a while! I hope no serious damage occurs as a result of the flooding.

Please remember that, contrary to the impression given by the media, we have also had extensive flooding in North Wales.

At least you have to give way to oncoming vehicles !
Typical british humour. :D

A lot of those people all seems to keep their good sense of humour.
I never forget a report on a BBC broadcast years ago.
A man stood till over his knees in the floating water in his garden, the complete garden was a mesh and the interior of the ground floor had to go to the dump as worhtless.

When he was in an interview on the BBC broadcast he said: On a positive note, We are now unable to visit the parents of my wife !

thats a shame..hope everyone is ok in that area!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Glub glub glub blub glug blub..........I thank you lot greatly for your concern re the floods..I am indeed close to it about a mile but we where lucky this time and braved it out with no damage.Unlike 5 years ago when every house on our side of the road was flooded out up to next door but one.The water diverted straight round the corner that time and filled my mates cellar 50mtrs away....Fingers crossed here all the time...Got a velox window in the roof now just in case.

Happy new year all.
