Re: Casting #8
the one with the decal was kinda cool...so i left them on the car!
the red with black hood model was a filler until i painted one red/orange...then
i got a real one in a trade with Jason (nearlynimt)
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

I thought some of you might like to see the 'Patent' drawing for the #8 Ford Mustang steering mechanism. I also have the patent claim for this but won't post that unless you really want a tiresome read...!!

It would be interesting to know what the claims are.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:I also have the patent claim for this but won't post that unless you really want a tiresome read...!!

Re: Casting #8
Here is the 'Claim' section of the whole patent, leaving out the 'Description' section which again is a bit long. The 'Claimants' were Ronald Thomas Perryman, Frederick Noel Rix (the inventors), and Lesney Products Co Ltd.
Fred Rix worked very close to Ken Wetton and they can been seen together in at least One Lesney press picture, measuring a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost in the Measham Motor Museum.
