Not sure if YY's are permitted in this, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Taken me many years to track down a minty example of this Y5 Peugeot in preproduction form.

Y5-3 Crystal clear windows,no centre strut to lower windscreen, 2 screen locating pips on roof, Y.5. number.

Here are my entries
My holy grail a lone star firenza in minty dark blue and it's the harder to find export version without vauxhall cast in the rear
Next another lone star this time a mk10 jaguar in an unusual metallic blue
Lesney SF entry is a Mercedes with opening doors and boot and unsound rivets
Last a Forden sugar tanker with double wheel error of 2 different sizes

For my pre-Superfast model it is this 44b Phantom V with the smaller Black plastic wheels with the less tread count.

My post-Regular Wheel model has to be the #24c Silver Shadow with 'Trim-Strip' and the low rear-arch.

This example is in so much better condition than my first example and it is valued so highly in my collection.

My non Lesney pre-1970 model is this Lone-Star #22 Silver Cloud III DHC in deep metallic Blue.

This holds so many memories for me and I never brought one at a Rolls-Royce rally when they were new, thinking I could get it at any toy shop...Wrong! never saw any more examples outside of the rally and thought I was never going to be blessed with this one. It took my membership here on the forum to actually see another example that was owned by "Fixer" (Reg), and eventually it became my property due to a complex multi swap deal with Reg and I can not thank him enough for A, being able and willing to help me in further deals and B, for being such a gentle giant, Reg, I like to think of you as my friend for ever, hats off to you my friend.

Both of those are great scores. I wouldn't mind having one of the Muir Hill dumpers! :D

I've never seen a Mustang that looks like that. Is it labeled as a Mustang on the box?

I have nothing to nominate, as I didn't buy a whole lot this year, but y'all have found some beautiful models!

From what I know these were built by an Italian coach builder and based on a Ford Taunus . So not a Mustang
Someone will know for sure (won't you Kev)

I have a limited collecting itch, all around the Lesney pre-SF pre-1970 range.
Collect everything - paper, cardboard, models, photographs, badges, etc.

My find of the year was one found at a collector's fair.
I'd bought 10 nice Regular Wheels from the seller and was just moving away from his stall
when I saw it tucked away in the corner of a tray of others models.

Rarely find this one in NZ and always get beaten on eBay so it was a nice moment.
