Charlie Mack's computer crashed and he has to rebuild the club mailing list. He needs all club members to:

1. email their name, address, member # if known, sub due date and 1st/standard class status to
Matchbxusa@aol.com

It would cost $1900 to retrieve of which I don't have unless I can negoiate them down further

Thanks
Charlie

Why wasn't this information backed up? At the very least, he should have made a printed copy every six months. At this point, I don't think it's worth signing up again as there is little of use to the vintage enthusiast (such as myself). I'm just going to let this membership expire and not look back. Sorry Charlie.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

To veteran Regular Wheel collectors like ourselves Joe, Charlies' USA Club Newsletter is very anemic in content for our interests. But, I have seen a few Forum members here asking whether there is a publication anywhere in the world that would keep them apprised of any new Superfast models and variations as they are now (Very slowly!) being released. Charlies' Club may be ideal for them to join at this point in time to keep up with what few releases are being allowed by Mattel in the Lesney line. I have been a Club member on and off since the USA Club's early years, and I do still enjoy Charlies' Conventions that are generally only a few hours away from us in the Northeast U.S. when they are held. There was a two year lapse, but this year's Convention was real good for me in that I was able to find a couple of good models from Alan Wank along with some more common models, but odd variations of them I still needed. I missed Greg there, but hope to meet him next time!
I will contact Charlie tonight, and I would urge collectors of new Superfasts to also contact Charlie for a free sample copy of one of his Newsletters. The one in front of me right now is 20 pages long with several pages being Charlies' own ads, but they are fun because one can get an "Early" view of any new SF and toy releases sent in to him by a few collectors around the World......kwakers
