Found today

Post by Ecclesley »

In spite of the horrendous weather of today, I paid a visit to a second hand shop and found these, which I could not resist buying.
Those Husky Buick models rather nice and the Budgie Rover surprisingly neat.

Nice!
It is a happy event to go out on a crappy day with low expectations and to find an unexpected treat in your neighborhood general second hand shop.
Enjoy!

Thanks Kurt.
Yeah I go there once a week. It is just like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna find.
This time I was lucky to get these.
I never really looked at those Husky models, but these are really pretty models.
And the Rover also a happy surprise.

2 Euros for that fabulous Burago Jaguar, wow, nice catch and another 44a for your collection, always welcome and at such a silly low price you can not leave them in the shop can you.

Although the roof is somewhat pressed in and the base plate is warped and pushed into the body, it is a model to restore easily.

...ah, that does not show in the picture. You also have one of those 'MINI-DINKY' Lotus Formula 1 models, they are nice and very collectible.

The Lotus is by Bestbox (Made in Holland). The same version and others were made by Bestbox called Mini Dinky a.f.a.i.k.
