33c Lamborghini Muira

Post by johnboy »

This 33c is a creamy/yellow colour but all my others are a vivid yellow like the model on the right. Does anyone else have any colour variations on these?

Thanks Antonin, mine's a very distinct difference in colour. Does anyone else have anything similar?

Does this odd light Muira match any other known Lesney, perhaps the cream #62 cougars??? Is it equally consistent in shade even deep in the wheel arches?

Hi John,
Your one does seem a lot lighter, I took a photo recently when I picked up the frosted window version.
Middle model is a creamy yellow but nowhwere near your one.

What about comparing this Creamy yellow Lambo with the #39 Yellow Pontiacs.

It's a consistent colour all over including deep underneath, so it's probably not external factors. Matchbox produced so many yellow models and I can't get a match with any of them, so perhaps it's just one of those shade variations that you get to different extremes. It's also possible that the sprayjets/resovoirs weren't cleaned properly after the cream Cougars had gone through :D

Johnboys odd Creamish Lambo is different in shades as compared to the pontiac & cougar....seems to have a few extra tads of whipped cream added...lol.
Sorry about the bad pics.

Heres an identical specimen to Johnboys Creamy-Yellow Lambo that sold recently in a trio-lot that consisted of a #41c Red Hubbed Gt40.
