Two additions to my collection.
Two additions to my collection.
Got this Chinese Atlas made Jaguar XK140 and the Eligor Rolls Royce 20/25 in green, with basket weave. Pretty cars these Eligor RR models. A satisfying catch.

Re: Two additions to my collection.
I don't know anything about 'ATLAS', I have not come across them at any of the toy fairs or model shows I have been too, but the Jaguar looks pretty good in the picture with the exception of the rather flat looking 'Cross-Wire' wheel rims, but I bet it could be made into a super looking model with some additional work.
The 'ELIGOR', well, I do of course love it and despite the original way this model was created, it looks fantastic to most collectors, but its a shame it was not based on any actual real Rolls-Royce 20-25 H.P.
There must be an endless listing of all the colours available on the Eligor model, because of it's sister models, numbers 1030 and 1055, the basket weave version above being number 1055 and despite having quite a decent production period, Today, these do not turn up that often at British toy fairs.

The quality of the Atlas Jaguar model is all but superb, but I like it. Not many 1/43 scale XK140's about so this fills the gap in pleasant way.
And yeah those Eligor Rolls Royce models, even if not based on a true 20/25, are just fun. I have 11 of them and I am sure I can add at least another 5 or 6 different colors to the bunch.

Re: Two additions to my collection.
In 1995, I was aware of between 20 and 30 colour issues across the Three Eligor Rolls-Royce 20-25 H.P. models...!!!
