I made a deal with a seller last week for 14 Rolls Royce model cars. He will deliver the package to me at the Namac swapmeet, next Saturday.
Part of the deal is this bunch of 11 models. Two of which are Metosul Rolls Royce Silver Ghosts, the blue and white in the yellow circles.
Then there is a bronze Lledo Rolls Royce Landaulette in the green circle which I am told is rather rare.
And on top of that I have a feeling that the Lledo Rolls Royce in the red circle is probably an example of a very limited production. Possibly a wedding present car.
But I can only be sure about that when I receive them on the 28th next.
I did not ask the seller for any specific details than was advertised, in order not to wake him up.
The deal was made at a very pleasant number of coins............
Kevin Ghosthunter can you shine your light on this bunch:

Re: Package deal
Nice collection there and to capture the Two 'METOSUL' Silver Ghost models is good. The Two models you have circled in Red and Green, are a bit special.
The 'Gold' Plated model based on DG38 is celebrating a Royal birthday for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother for 95 glorious Years. It comes with a certificate stating the model is 1 of 10,000. My example shown here was purchased in December 1998 for £8.95.
It has the LLEDO PROMOTIONAL baseplate.
The other special model is from the Three Rolls-Royce model gift set for FINA FUELS (a Fourth Rolls-Royce was in it's own separate box), and this 'Bronze' model is the only model not available separately, the other Two, DG39 and DG19 were sold separately in their own normal issue boxes.
The box is nothing special and was borrowed from normal gift set production. It is not dated or tied specifically to the Fina promotion. My set shown here was purchased in February 1998 for £10.
This also has the LLEDO PROMOTIONAL baseplate.

Re: Package deal
Thanks a lot Kevin.
Both Metosul models are very welcome in my collection, as well as the Fina Landaulette. The others, including the royal Rolls Royce, for re-sale.
Seller did not want the bunch to be split up, so I took them all, which was fine by me considering the mere € 20 paid.

Re: Package deal
That certainly is a good catch for 20 Euro's, I would think a single Metosul would be more than that!
