Friend of mine came across this model but there are no marking indicating maker or era.

Hello Shane.

This is a model from 'WELLS BRIMTOY' from their 'Pocketoy' range. I have shown the logo for these and another model from the same range below.

That's a very nice model, I have a few tucked away somewhere, mainly based on Bedfords. There's some interesting info on the links below (early history, later history and the Pocketoy series)
