Finished my matchbox project

Post by matchboxtom »

My new Matchbox logo made of red and yellow LEGOS. Nearly four feet wide. I totally stole the idea from my friend Keith Buck. I took a photo of his. My only mistake was scale. Building mine from looking at my photo on my phone. His is only two feet wide.

That looks great. It wouldn't have looked right if it was any smaller.Very good job you did on it.

I'd like to see some better pictures of some of the models in that cabinet, especially the Y12 Thomas and the Y3 Benz examples.

I do like the LEGO sign idea, just waiting for someone to do a similar sign with matchbox models that spells...LEGO, :D

BTW, what a great collection and yes, like Bob, I would love to see some of those 'Yesteryears' close up.

Great sign, Tom. I am also rather partial to the MATCHBOXTOM sign on 3rd shelf. Well done. Jay
