Recently picked up these 2 from completely different places.
Left model the base has not been plated(very hard to photograph)with solid wheels, the right model is superb and has never been riveted(hollow wheels). Looks like the previous owner added a small piece of glue to keep it together. With some warm water the model came apart nicely.

Nice finds Jason, I like these unusual ones, there must be few of these about.

Hi John,
Yes there probably is quite a few about, just finding them. The unpressed one is just superb and i can just imagine a child opening the box and the base falls off. If it had been me I would have got the blame for breaking/taking it apart :D

Maybe when the base fell off it wasn't played with, so it remained in great condition. (My bad earlier J, I meant to say there can't be many of these about, but it didn't come out quite right :) You're right that finding them is the thing, because these details would be mostly hidden. The unpressed/unspun rivets are great.

Yes it's nice to get painted ones for a change, most of my unpressed models are also unpainted.
