Re: Oxford Diecast Bentley MKVI
For the price point these are being marketed at, these are superb models, very accurate representations of the real car and surely one of the new to be released Rolls-Royce models from 'OXFORD' will be a version with a Rolls-Royce grille to make a Silver Dawn.
The Bentley Mk VI was the first car from Rolls-Royce to be entirely built by them using a body shell supplied by Pressed Steel Ltd, on a modified Silver Wraith chassis fitted with a 4 1⁄4-litre, straight Six engine, increasing to a 4 1⁄2-litre in 1951.
Less than 3000 cars were built 1946 and 1952, which for Rolls-Royce was quite an achievement!
Cars developed from the MkVI were the Silver Dawn from 1949 and the R-Type from 1952.

Just to prove it is mine and not an internet picture...
...here it is with another recently purchased Bentley convertible and a Pewter version of the 1927 3 Ltr Le Mans tourer by Corgi.

Very nice picture. Looks very professional. It really makes the Oxford very desirable.

Thank you "Fox", models placed on top of the fridge in the kitchen under fluorescent tube lighting and Camera set to Auto White balance, mounted on a tripod and set to a Two second timer so I physically do not touch the Camera. The picture has some minor post production to give the final look, size is reduced down to 22% ready for posting to the forum.
