This is an old school board.
I'm surprised it still works now that the interweb has upgraded a lot.
One good bonus is we don't get bombarded with epileptic flash adverts that sometimes block the tab we need to press for send.

Why do we have a 'bot' on our members list?

Hi Richard, this was Nick's answer a while back re Bing Bot & Google Bot:

They are "Spiders" and they are here to check for new messages so they can add them to their respective search engines, They visit every website but don't usually show up in the member list, They are normally hidden but do show up in our forum as we have not blocked them, I set up this forum late in the evening and never announced it until the following morning and the first member joined soon after, by then 30 odd spiders had already visited and scanned the site.
