Hello all you are correct in your observations on these boxes, except you Reg (fixer) as they are all printed by the same company.
You will notice that the boxes showing the White model the base of the side post have a wedge shape support at the base, as does the Yellow posts, where as when they are changed to Black they no longer show the wedge supports.
So it seems that the box with the Yellow supports was only printed for a short time, making it harder to find.
Even the "F" box was printed by the same company, all though the Regular wheel "E" box has no printing company logo on it.
I was going to put this in the Box section, but as so many printing differences were found I decided to leave it here

with girders and and after dropping off the girders at the job site!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
