GHOSTHUNTER wrote:The Vauxhall does look original with nice Silver-Grey wheels. The rather odd finish to the paint is possibly due to the model being on display in damp conditions and the pigments in the paint has started to suffer. Providing the model is now stored in dryer conditions, there should not be any further paint problems, very nice model.
Yes a very fine model even with the paint-problem thank you Ghosty.
But what color is it?
Ther are three different possibilities and I´m not sure about ist.
Here is a pic to compare.

By all appearances this piece should classify as the light metallic gold Cresta. A little more common than the dark metallic gold, but still not an easy model to locate.

Thats correct but also not what I was asking for.

The roof of this model was damaged and because there is no sparepart avaiable I made a 3D-file and printed the part on a 3D-Printer.
Today I will start a new post with parts made by this technology for Matchbox cars - there are a few more to come.
