Hi!
This model usually has wide dot-dash wheels.
Here is one with narrow wheels.
I wonder how many were produced like this?

Next to an example with 4mm wheels, I got this curiosity with orange interior back in 2013. eBay UK. Why the plastic part fantasy at the time casting was about to be phased out (1975 purple issue with tow hook reinforcement) ? Don't know but I like it.

Re: Superfast Casting # 54
Hi Oliver we all would like to see u posting on here more often....thats an order by the way
Thanks for showing these Capris which was long overdue and they are very nice too esp the orange interior. I have the auction pic right here.
My opinion on the other hand is that these purples by choice do not quite suit the Capris. Lesneys color choice was poor whereas they could have chosen a much faster & sportier colors to suit the model, body design & contours.Dad says that these Capris were cars of the future back then and ahead of their times in body designs. Im sure most collectors would prefer seeing them in bright yellow, reds, white, blues, met greens & Mustang oranges.
The real Capri vehicles were introduced here in SA back in 1969-early1973 and was superceded by the bulky & non-worthy Granada which ended up in the scrap yards by/from 1975/6 on. Those heavy Granada bodies powered by V4 & 2.5-V6 engines was Fords downfall.Nowadays the Capris fetch top $$ and most seem to be exported to/imported back into the Uk and the same with the early Ford Escorts & Cortinas.Certain V8 Perana & Bazil Green specimens of the Capris fetch up to 35 000gbp This info comes from Dad whos 1-st car was a Capri 3000 V6 XL GT ......beater
