What are you suggesting Kevin?GHOSTHUNTER wrote:I understand the concept behind those 'Broomstick' models, but how do they become separated from the awkward packaging and the tether and presumably the one shown by Alex above has had to be stored in ideal conditions waiting for a suitable box to come along.
BTW, very nice Porsches Alex.

Re: Superfast Casting # 68
Nothing underhand by yourself Alex, its just that what happens to the rest of the model, the all important tether ('Broomstick'), part. Do they all get lost when the model is removed from the large blister card packaging or are there any examples still complete but without blister card, which would then make it difficult to place in a box like the example you have shown.
I have seen carded examples but never car and 'Broomstick' displayed by anyone as part of their collection, what happens to them?

I assume that the 'Broomstick' concept was flawed from the start......it didn't work very well, so once the blister packs were opened and the kids got to try pulling along their 'Broomstick' models and realised how shit a concept it was they gave up playing very quickly leaving behind lots of potentially mint examples.
What i was trying to emphasise was that these white painted 'Broomstick' models are very prone to paint chipping!!.
