57c Land Rover Fire Truck

Post by johnboy »

I've got two of these trucks, one with silver trim to the front bumper and one without. On Nick's page, there is a photo of a loose one without the trim and possibly one in a blister but there's no mention of trim on the page or in the code table. So is the trim-less version a negative variation or is this an omission? My one has the rectangular label like the model in the photo.

I can't believe this has not been questioned before JB!!.

I also have two versions of this model one of which has the 'T cut' label, both of mine have silver trim on the bumper. I would suggest this could be an omission on Nicks site and therefore may be considered a variation in its own right, let's see what the others think.

Can we get an image of your trimless variant?

Hi John, I have 3 models 2 with trim and 1 without.
The one I have without trim also has short axle clips, this model came with a group of prepro models and has no labels either. Also has the longer hose reel to the back.

Thanks for checking.

TBH JB I wouldn't take too much notice of the clips as they are easy to swap or replace as required unless they are in unusual colours (thinking of your greyhound bus J)

My four examples all have the front bumper trim.

I guess it is just that any model which normally has silver trim may also be found without that trim occasionally. The same applies to the regular wheel version of this model too.
