A long time quest has been completed. I have wanted the Dinky 954 Fire Station for soooooo long but they are always beyond my budget even in poor condition. Very good condition although one door is missing a corner. I will keep looking for the fire fighters and hose line accessory pack and a replacement door, but for now I am happy happy happy
The three dinky trucks are just for scale comparison. They have been with me for a while patiently waiting for a place to call home.

Fantastic Shane, love the whole set you have put together. I used to have the Transit, but sadly never got hold of the proper fire fighting truck, but have been looking at some at toy fairs so any Day now I think I will pounce and secure one for myself, it is a lovely big Dinky Toy with loads of play value, thank's for showing it here.

Havent seen this building before, very nice! Lots of Dinky Fire variations to collect including FALCK labelled versions made for Danish market
Re: Got some new... Dinky
Just a note that I believe the station was released in 1961.
Just another note in case you are not familiar Ghosthunter, those are two different Ford Transit models. The 286 with double rear doors and sliding passenger door and the 271 with single overhead opening rear door and passenger door that does not open (later model). Everything else was the same
I have some Falck trucks too, but by tekno

Re: Got some new... Dinky
Thank's Shane, it was the double rear door version I had, when I got fed up with playing as a Fire Fighter, I took the ladder and clip off the roof, took the inside auto hose winder unit out and painted the model in gloss Black and pretended it was a mobile shop like the one we had come round onto our housing estate, so now I was a mobile groceries entrepreneur...

I do like those but never had any as a Child... the MOBIL tanker just oozes playability and looks so heavy and meaningful. I bet many a toy petrol station has had one of those pull up, ready for filling the pretend underground fuel tanks...
