Thank You for all the kind words about the displays. I plan on finishing the restoration on the second one this weekend or next. I decided to try and light one up and see what it would look like. Some of these were actually back lit. I decided to upgrade the way it was done with LED's so that there would be no heat build up. Pretty happy with the results. Now its time to start building another case to hold these displays and get these cases filled.

Thank you John for the update pictures of your displays. That is just stunning and I agree with the LED substitute. Units such as these were switched on for when the shop was closed and you can just imagine coming home from work one cold November evening and seeing a display all lit up in a shop window, reminding you, that is the shop to buy your Son's toy cars from... :D

Stunning, these dispalys are crying out to be back lit. The result is utterly superb.

Totally agree and I can't think of a better word than "Stunning". That's a great find and a job really well done.
