Bit late for a spring clean but when my wife was sorting through some boxes in the cellar she came across these:
No idea where they came from but must have been in the box for at least 35 years because as far as I know these were not available in Germany and I've been here that long. Cannot remember smoking Woodbine's anyway, my smoke was Player's No. 6

Hi all, I can remember smoking these when I was about six, my dad caught me & made me smoke his pipe, never been so sick in my life, that's why I don't smoke now Pete

Seems that style of pack was used from the 20s or 30s until the mid 1960s, when it was changed.
